You know, everywhere in the world, inspiration strikes, new artists are born, and new styles are born. We all start as beginners and take our time...but then certain points...there are times when we feel a certain way about our art. Some people don't think that they cannot get better when you know you can. Some people feel they should quit....when you can keep going. Some people feel like you're nothing...when you are something...those things are called excuses...there is no excuse why you cannot accomplish your goals to become an artist. The quotes you see often
"OMG! Your art is so cute!"
"Cute."
"That is awesome!"
"I love your art"
"Your art is very cool and different."
That alone should motivate you to keep going. But if you still feel weary of your art and if you still feel like your art cannot get better even after comments that should motivate your to keep going, here's a guide to help you out and a guide of excuses that are often shown why an artist feels like they cannot get better.

I am not popular/Not many viewers Whatsoever

That's something you may see a lot. Quotes such as, "My art isn't good cause I am not popular" or "I can't do it cause nobody comes to my page." You know, it's a tough feeling to have. You feel like your being overlooked or not noticed because of the "POPULAR" people who also at some point also felt that way about people.

What can you do to get over this excuse?
Instead of feeling the need to become popular, draw for fun and keep improving. That way people will notice you for your big talent. Submit your art to groups. Show art to your family. Your family will always appreciate your hard work and talent cause you have it regardless of what nit picky people don't see it. Art is something that fluctuates all the time and people will be noticed

No Talent whatsoever

People were born differently with different talents. We all have different minds and thoughts of what we consider art. Some of the most famous people who had amazing talent were judge. Those people said they had no talent what so ever cause they're different. Quote such as "I am not talented enough." or "I can't produce enough talent to the world cause my art sucks." are said at a certain point sometime in our lives.

What can you do to get over this excuse?
You HAVE talent regardless of what level you're at. Beginner, Intermediate, Professional, whatever. Once you make your first picture, you already have a talent to show to the world whether it's a dot on a piece of picture, or a stick figure standing there. You can also go to art colleges or take art classes in elementary, middle, or high school. That way you can find your true talent. Time will tell.

No Time Whatsoever

Oh yes. Time. You know, we are human...Humans are not instant messaging machines, or computers, or...anything related to a machine. We humans have lives, too. We do our daily things. Get up, go to school, go to work, go to parties, go to events, go eat, go to dates, go to conventions, go to bed. Quotes such as "I have no time to do your request" or "I'm busy at the moment, sorry." is a normal thing to say.

What can you do to get over this excuse?
At least find at least 10 mins of your time to draw something. Choose one day out of the week where you can draw instead of feeling lazy. Keep a sketch book with you and whenever you're done with whatever event you're doing, draw it. There's ALWAYS time to get better and draw.

I Have No Such Supplies to Do That Whatsoever

Yes. Yes. The Supplies. Whether it's traditional or digital, you need some type of supply to draw. But yeah, money is the one thing that may stop you from having the picture you envisioned. Quotes such as "I don't have that kind of money to buy those color pencils, paper, and markers.", "Oh, I just don't have those kinds of supplies to do my art" or "That tablet costs a lot! That program costs a lot. Maybe another time" can make you sigh sometimes...

What can you do to get over this excuse?
Use what you can either find or what you have. You'd be surprise what kind of art you can produce with such little things. If you have pencil, use it. If you have crayons from ages ago, use them. If you have broken up color pencils, use them. If you have make up...WTH use it. If you have markers that lil kids use, use it unless if they're dried out. If you have paper torn up or stained or already drawn on, use it.
Another solution, save up on money, do commissions, or get a job. That way you can buy the supplies.

I Don't Know What to Draw Whatsoever

Drawing is a tough process. It's like writing a 10 page essay. It is tough! We get those things called ART BLOCKS with can hurt your artistic brain to a pulp...why do we get art blocks? Well, you could have just drawn something you're so proud of then BOOM...omg what do I draw now...I don't know, or you don't find the inspiration you need just yet or your brain is just fried. Quote such as "Art Blocked.","Oh my gosh, what do I draw, er?" or "I can't think of anything" that's quite often.

What can you do to get over this excuse?
Draw things around you on a piece of paper or a little sketch book. There's about a jillion things around the world to draw. Draw a tree, a dog, a cat, a house, coffee..., plants, anything to keep your mind stimulated. There's nothing in this world to stop you from drawing.
Watch tv, go to events, go to parties, then draw what happened. Doing hobbies can create inspiration out of nowhere!

The Competition is so Vast

Competition...aw yes. Competition is everywhere. Whether it's a cellphone brand trying to get you to buy their product, or if it's a fast food restaurant trying to fill up your stomach. Whether it's a contest to win big bucks or if it's a ice sculpture contest. Whether it's a contest to become number one, or to become number zero, it's everywhere, even for art. Art is a competition on your peers, your (if you have any) enemies, and on yourself. Why on yourself? Well, we try to be the best that we can and struggle comes to play. Quotes such as "I GOTTA BE BETTER THAT HIM/HER!", "I WANT TO BETTER AT DRAWING HANDS, EYES, AND FEET THAN ANYONE!" or "I MUST BE BETTER!" creates competition.

What can you do to get over this excuse?
As one of my teachers told me, don't worry about anyone else. You do your own thing. But competition can strive you to improve, also. It's a good way to motivate you instead of make you furious or strive for ambition.

JEALOUSY

The big thing called JEALOUSY...we ALL have jealousy. We are human. Don't say your not human because animals and non humans have jealousy, too! Jealousy is like competition somewhatWe all want to be like professionals and if we're not popular, or get rejected, or in general, want to better but you feel like you can't, we all get jealous. It's ok to get jealous. It's a normal thing. Quotes such as "OMG, I'm jelly!" or "I want to be like you" is an sign of jealousy.

What can you do to get over this excuse?
Well if you're jealous, make that jealousy become motivation! Jealousy can sometimes make you lose your confidence in your own abilities. If you get motivated by the professionals, you will improve an become amazing. Then the cycle will continue. But you know, it's still ok to be jealous. Even professionals get jealous, but don't be jealous too long.

I Can't Draw Whatsoever

Quotes such as "I wish I could draw." or "I can't draw. I don't know how." are often said around the world. They say we are all born with a talent. Yes that's true. But then when someone see's a person who can draw, sometimes they get jealous and say they wish they can draw. Well you can. Just get a piece of paper...then start drawing. I also hear quotes such as "I can only draw stick figures" or "I can only draw a happy face". Well guess what? YOU CAN DRAW SOMETHING!

What can you do yo get over this excuse?
Well, if you can at least draw a stick figure or a smiley face, continue and advance your skills. It doesn't always mean that a person will continue that process. Every human has a different talent.

Jealousy Artist Confessions Quotes

Have you ever been on Tumblr lately and saw those comments called ARTIST CONFESSIONS. Those are comments from people who either have nice things to say about artists and naughty things to say. Artist Confessions have their own opinion on what they think that certain artist is capable of. Some comments can be so negative, that a person looses the confidence...sometimes sanity....and to the point they just want to quit. Quotes such as "His/Her art has so many issues, I cannot even explain!" or "The way she/he does art sucks" perfectly normal.

What can you do to get over this excuse?
Don't worry about those people or feel motivated and proved them wrong. Besides, sometimes they're jealous or they have their own opinion.

Excuses...excuses...excuses....More quotes you will often see
"I'm not famous"
"I can't draw like you"
"I want to be apart of this team, too"
"Why doesn't nobody like my art"
"Your art is not as good as mine"
"I just want to have more watches, and favs"
And more

Don't feel this way. Keep drawing! Motivation is a key, and inspiration will always strike!

Tbh my excuse was (and sometimes is) "I have no reason to draw"

Well.

I am just working on finding a reason again.
